Srinagar, May 10: Several explosions were reported in different parts of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, just hours after India and Pakistan announced a mutual ceasefire agreement. The incidents sparked fear and confusion among local residents, raising questions about the ceasefire’s immediate impact.

Reacting to the situation, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah voiced his concern on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “What the hell just happened to the ceasefire? Explosions heard across Srinagar!!!”

His post highlighted the growing unease over the unexpected turn of events that came so soon after the agreement was made public.
