Jammu, June 7: Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, paid heartfelt tributes to Lieutenant Beereshwar Goswami, who made the supreme sacrifice while undertaking operational duties in a challenging area marked by rugged terrain, steep cliffs, and adverse weather conditions.

The Lieutenant Governor laid a wreath and offered homage to the fallen Army officer, honouring his courage, dedication, and service to the nation.

Expressing his condolences, LG Sinha said in a post on X, “Laid a wreath and paid homage to our Army Braveheart Lieutenant Beereshwar Goswami. The nation will forever remain indebted to his supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. We stand firmly with the family of the martyr in this difficult hour.”

The Lieutenant Governor also conveyed solidarity with the bereaved family and assured them of the nation’s unwavering support during this period of grief.

Lieutenant Beereshwar Goswami’s sacrifice has been hailed as a testament to the valour and commitment of the Indian Army personnel who continue to serve under difficult and hazardous conditions to safeguard the country’s security and sovereignty.

His supreme sacrifice has evoked widespread respect and gratitude across the nation.
