GANDERBAL, MAY 20: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister on Tuesday laid the foundation stone for a Veterinary Hospital in Ganderbal, marking a significant step toward strengthening rural infrastructure and supporting the farming and livestock-rearing community.Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister emphasized the critical role of animal healthcare in sustaining and boosting the region’s agrarian economy. “Ensuring quality animal healthcare is vital for a thriving agrarian economy,” he said.
The initiative is expected to enhance veterinary services in the area, directly benefiting farmers and livestock owners who rely heavily on animal husbandry for their livelihood.The foundation-laying ceremony was attended by Hon’ble Ministers Sakina Itoo and Javed Dar, and Advisor Nasir Sogami, who joined the Chief Minister in reaffirming the government’s commitment to rural development and the welfare of the farming community.The Veterinary Hospital is aimed at providing timely and effective medical care to livestock, thus improving productivity and economic stability in the region.
