Srinagar: In a significant political development, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced its support for the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (NC) candidates in the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), PDP leader @parawahid stated, “In the larger interest, and on the instructions of our party president @MehboobaMufti, we are supporting the @JKNC_ candidates in the Rajya Sabha elections. In return, the NC has committed to supporting our two key bills.”

While details of the two proposed bills have not been made public, party insiders suggest that they are focused on issues of public welfare and governance reforms in Jammu and Kashmir.
