Srinagar, Nov 6: Director General of Police (DGP) J&K, Shri Nalin Prabhat, IPS, on Thursday chaired a high-level security review meeting at the Police Control Room (PCR) Kashmir to assess the overall security scenario in the Valley.
During the meeting, the DGP took a comprehensive review of the prevailing security situation and ongoing counter-insurgency measures. He emphasized the need for enhanced coordination among various security agencies to ensure a robust and prompt response to any emerging challenges.
Shri Prabhat directed for intensifying surprise naka checks, strengthening Quick Reaction Teams (QRTs), and upgrading communication systems with modern technology to improve real-time information sharing and operational efficiency.
