SRINAGAR, June 7: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah offered Eid-ul-Adha prayers at the revered Hazratbal Dargah in Srinagar on Saturday.
He was accompanied by his father, party president and Member of Parliament Dr. Farooq Abdullah, and his two sons. The family joined thousands of worshippers at the shrine to mark the auspicious occasion with spiritual reflection and devotion.
The congregational prayers at Hazratbal, which houses a relic believed to be a hair of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), drew large crowds from across the Valley. The atmosphere was marked by a deep sense of faith and communal unity.
Speaking briefly to the media after the prayers, Omar Abdullah extended Eid greetings to the people and prayed for peace and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir.
