New Delhi, June 7:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday extended warm greetings to the nation on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, a festival that symbolizes sacrifice and compassion.
Taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the Prime Minister conveyed his best wishes to the people, expressing hope that the festival would inspire harmony and strengthen the fabric of peace in society.

Eid-ul-Adha, also known as the “Festival of Sacrifice,” is one of the most significant Islamic festivals, observed by Muslims across the world. The day commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God.
Leaders from across the political spectrum have also extended their greetings, urging citizens to celebrate the festival in the spirit of unity and brotherhood.
