Srinagar, July 20: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday lauded the spirit of unity and enthusiasm among participants at the J&K Police’s ‘Pedal Through Paradise Cycle Race’ held in Srinagar.
Calling it an “innovative initiative,” Sinha commended the J&K Police for promoting youth engagement, peace, and fitness. “This event is not just a sporting competition but a symbol of the new Jammu and Kashmir. It inspires youth to choose progress over violence and drug addiction,” he said in a post on X.
The LG praised the police force for its legacy of selfless service and sacrifices, stating that their efforts have strengthened national unity and paved the way for peace and prosperity in the region.Reiterating his commitment to a terrorism-free and drug-free Jammu and Kashmir, Sinha vowed to dismantle the entire ecosystem supporting terrorism, including networks involved in radicalizing youth, supplying weapons, and funding militant activities.
