Srinagar, July 20: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday praised the unwavering dedication of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, noting their courage and sacrifice from senior officers to SPOs.
“The history of J&K Police is written in the blood of brave hearts who gave everything for the nation,” he said.Highlighting the force’s role over the past five to six years, he credited them with restoring peace, fostering unity, and instilling hope across the region. He emphasized that peace and development must go hand in hand to sustain progress.
Speaking at the “Pedal to Paralyzed” cycle race, LG Sinha described it as a symbol of youth empowerment.“Every pedal forward is a move towards a brighter future,” he said, calling it a message of hope for those affected by violence or addiction.
LG Sinha asserted that the “New Jammu and Kashmir” is not just a slogan but a visible transformation. “Just look back six years and see the difference,” he said.
