Srinagar, Aug 23: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday interacted with members of the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Srinagar and lauded their contribution towards promoting trade, commerce, and industry in Jammu and Kashmir.
The LG said India, being one of the oldest civilizations in the world, has always valued relationships based on compassion and brotherhood rather than mere transactions. “Our cultural heritage and traditional values have made our economy resilient and established India as a great and powerful nation,” he remarked.
He noted that the ICC meeting in Srinagar would serve as a vital platform for networking and collaboration for local businesses. “By holding this event in Srinagar, ICC has reaffirmed that no terrorist force can ever subdue India,” Sinha asserted.
Calling the initiative a “strong statement against the enemies of the nation,” the LG expressed confidence that such engagements would inspire industries in Jammu and Kashmir to pursue higher goals and strengthen the region’s economic growth.
