SRINAGAR, May 2: The Jal Shakti Department (JSD) of the Jammu and Kashmir Government has suspended Irfan Reshi, In-charge Assistant Executive Engineer of the Jal Shakti (PHE) Sub-Division Pahalgam (HQ Aishmuqam), following his arrest by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Srinagar.
According to official sources, the suspension follows the registration of an FIR and subsequent arrest of Reshi by the ACB on April 19, 2025. The order of suspension was issued by the department in accordance with service conduct rules.
Reshi will remain under suspension pending further investigation.
