SRINAGAR: The School Education Department has appointed an Inquiry Officer to investigate allegations of misconduct against a government school lecturer in Poonch district.
According to an official order, Mushtaq Ahmad, In-charge Joint Director (Secondary Education) at the Directorate of School Education Jammu, has been designated to conduct the inquiry into the conduct of Mr. Mohd Ishaq, a Mathematics Lecturer at Boys Higher Secondary School (BHSS) Surankote.
Mr. Ishaq is accused of violating Rule 22 of the Jammu and Kashmir Employees Conduct Rules, 1971. The investigation will be conducted under Rule 31 of the J&K Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956.
The Inquiry Officer has been instructed to submit his findings and recommendations to the department within 15 days of the issuance of the order.
