SRINAGAR: Amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan, Israel has issued an updated travel advisory urging its citizens to immediately leave Kashmir, excluding Ladakh. The advisory, reported by PTI, follows Indian air and missile strikes across the LoC and into Pakistan’s Punjab province in response to the April 22 Pahalgam attack that killed 26 people. Pakistan retaliated with intense shelling along the LoC—the heaviest in years.
Israel’s Foreign Ministry also advised against travel to Jammu and Kashmir and urged nationals to follow local security directives. The guidance aligns with earlier warnings from Israel’s National Security Council.Pakistan claimed 31 fatalities and 57 injuries from the Indian strikes. At least 13 people, including four children and a soldier, were killed in Pakistan’s retaliatory shelling.
