Waheed Para Slams J&K Govt for Cutting RBA Quota

SRINAGAR: PDP youth leader Waheed Para has condemned the Jammu and Kashmir Government’s move to reduce the Backward Area (RBA) quota, calling it a deliberate attempt to weaken Kashmiri representation and empowerment.In a post on X, Para termed the cabinet sub-committee’s “rationalization” of the quota as a calculated effort to disempower Kashmiris and erode a safeguard that historically ensured fair representation for people from backward and remote areas of the Valley.
