Cabinet Minister Satish Sharma Visits Flood-Hit Areas in Kathua

Kathua, Aug 17: Cabinet Minister Satish Sharma, accompanied by several senior leaders of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), visited the flood-affected areas of Ghatti in Kathua district on Saturday to take stock of the situation and assess the damages caused by the recent floods.

Among those who joined the minister were JKNC Provincial President Jammu Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial President YNC S. Tejinder Pal Singh Aman, Zonal Vice President Rakesh Singh Raka, and District President Kathua Rural Sham Gupta, along with other local party functionaries.

During the visit, the delegation interacted with the affected families, listened to their grievances, and assured them of all possible support. They urged the administration to expedite relief and rehabilitation measures and to ensure adequate compensation for the losses suffered by residents.
