Young Woman Injured After Allegedly Shooting Herself in Rajouri

Rajouri, Feb 23: A 21-year-old woman sustained critical injuries after allegedly shooting herself with a 12-bore licensed gun at her home in the Bhajwal area of Sunderbani, Rajouri district, on Sunday.

Officials told GNS that the woman, identified as Shivani Devi, daughter of Gurdhar Lal and a resident of Upper Bhajwal, suffered severe injuries in the incident. She was initially taken to SDM Hospital Sunderbani, where doctors referred her to Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu for advanced treatment.

Meanwhile, the police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the matter.
