SRINAGAR, Oct 10: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary on Friday conducted an extensive tour of Srinagar to review the progress of various ongoing development projects across the city.
During the visit, Choudhary inspected key construction sites, including the Barbar Shah Bridge and the Old Habba Kadal Bridge, to assess the pace and quality of work.
He directed the concerned departments to ensure timely completion of the projects while maintaining high standards of construction. The Deputy CM emphasized the importance of balancing modern infrastructure development with the preservation of Srinagar’s rich cultural and architectural heritage.
“Srinagar’s unique identity lies in its history and heritage. While we move ahead with modernization, it is equally important to retain the essence that defines this city,” Choudhary said.
