Jammu and Kashmir, June 9: Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo held a comprehensive review meeting with Director General of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO), Lt Gen Raghu Srinivasan, focusing on critical strategic road projects aimed at bolstering border connectivity and enhancing operational readiness in the Union Territory.
The high-level discussion covered progress on various infrastructure works, with particular attention to overcoming persistent challenges such as land acquisition and forest clearance delays. Chief Secretary Dulloo assured full administrative support to facilitate timely resolution of these issues.
Emphasizing the importance of all-weather connectivity to remote and border regions, Dulloo directed for the fast-tracking of project execution to ensure round-the-year accessibility. He reiterated the government’s commitment to strengthening infrastructure that supports both civilian needs and national security.
