SRINAGAR: The Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) has ordered that no government or private school can resume offline classes without a valid structural safety certificate.
In a directive issued by Director Naseem Javaid Chowdhary, Heads of Institutions (HoIs) and School Management Committees must conduct safety audits of school buildings and submit reports to the authorities.
Schools deemed structurally sound may submit an undertaking certifying safety to the respective Chief or Zonal Education Officers.
