SRINAGAR: Ganderbal Police destroyed a large quantity of seized narcotics and psychotropic substances worth several lakhs during a disposal drive supervised by the District Level Drug Disposal Committee.
The contraband, linked to 23 NDPS cases, was incinerated at Kashmir Health Care System, IGC Lassipora, following court approval and under the supervision of senior officers and a magistrate.
Police said the drive underscores their commitment to eradicating drug abuse and ensuring a safer, drug-free society.
