Srinagar, June 29:
Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha on Sunday conducted a comprehensive review of the progress on the Disaster Management Centre and Yatri Niwas, along with the overall preparedness for the smooth conduct of the upcoming pilgrimage.

During the review meeting, the LG assessed the functioning of key services being put in place for pilgrims, including lodging facilities, langar arrangements, uninterrupted power and water supply, sanitation and hygiene, healthcare facilities, traffic management, and fire and emergency services. The deployment of security personnel was also closely examined to ensure the safety and well-being of devotees.

Emphasizing the importance of seamless coordination among departments, LG Sinha directed officials to ensure all arrangements are in place to provide a safe, comfortable, and spiritually enriching experience for the pilgrims.
