Srinagar, July 22: Sports Minister Satish Sharma on Tuesday emphasized the importance of fulfilling the Prime Minister’s commitments to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, stating that the region is currently witnessing a favourable environment for dialogue and development.

Speaking at a local event, Sharma said, “The time is right to take meaningful steps. The people of Jammu and Kashmir deserve the promises made to them to be kept. The current atmosphere is conducive to engagement and resolution.”

He also highlighted the National Conference’s consistent advocacy for dialogue through appropriate and democratic platforms. “Dialogue is the only way forward. Our party has always believed in resolving issues through peaceful and constructive discussions,” Sharma added.
