In a heartbreaking incident, a young NEET-UG aspirant was found dead by suicide in her room in Kota, Rajasthan, on Saturday night, just a day before the national medical entrance exam. The girl, aged under 18, was preparing for the highly competitive exam, which is scheduled to take place today at centers across the country.

The deceased, a resident of Sheopur in Madhya Pradesh, had been living with her parents in Kota for the past several years. She was enrolled at a local coaching institute, where she had been preparing rigorously for the NEET-UG exam.

According to Circle Inspector Arvind Bhardwaj of Kunhadi Police Station, the girl was found hanging in her room. Police have launched an investigation, but the exact cause behind the tragedy is yet to be determined.

This tragic incident has once again raised concerns about the immense pressure faced by students in coaching hubs like Kota, where the race for academic success can sometimes lead to devastating outcomes.

Authorities continue to stress the importance of providing adequate mental health support to students, particularly those preparing for high-stakes exams like NEET-UG.
