In a gesture of remembrance and solidarity, the Indian National Congress will organize candlelight vigils across the country on April 25 to pay tribute to the victims of the recent terror attack in Pahalgam.

The party has called on citizens from all walks of life to participate in the vigils, which are intended to honour those who lost their lives and to send a unified message against violence and terror.

The attack, which occurred on April 22 and targeted a group of tourists, resulted in the deaths of more than 26 individuals and left many others seriously injured. The tragic incident has sparked a wave of national grief and condemnation.

Through these candlelight gatherings, the Congress aims to offer support to the families affected and reaffirm the country’s collective resolve to stand against terrorism.
