Amritsar, Punjab – May 4, 2025:: Punjab Police have uncovered a significant espionage operation after arresting two individuals, Palak Sher Masih and Suraj Masih, for allegedly leaking sensitive military information to Pakistan’s intelligence agency, ISI. The suspects were apprehended after an extensive investigation that traced their activities to a network of espionage operations targeting military establishments.

Authorities revealed that the duo had been sending photos of military cantonments and airbases to ISI agents across the border. The investigation into the matter led police to Harpreet Singh, a jailed individual, who is suspected to have played a key role in the operation.

The case has been registered under the Official Secrets Act, a law that mandates stringent penalties for individuals involved in espionage activities. Police have confirmed that the investigation is ongoing, with further inquiries into the larger espionage network expected.

The arrests come at a time of heightened vigilance over national security, with authorities emphasizing the importance of safeguarding sensitive military information.

Further updates on the investigation are expected in the coming days as police continue to probe the espionage activities linked to the suspects.
