Srinagar, Nov 6: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr. Akshay Labroo, on Thursday visited “Palaash” and “Pareesha” Children Homes at Gupt Ganga, Nishat, to assess their functioning and review the welfare measures in place for the children residing there.

During the inspection, Dr. Labroo interacted with the students and staff to take firsthand feedback about the facilities, educational support, healthcare, and other amenities being provided at both the homes. He appreciated the efforts of the management and caregivers for their dedication toward ensuring a nurturing environment for the children.

The DC assured that the District Administration Srinagar will extend all possible assistance to further improve the infrastructure and welfare of the students at Palaash and Pareesha. He emphasized the importance of providing quality education, emotional support, and holistic development opportunities to children living in such institutions.
