Srinagar, Sept 27: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday said that the tribal communities of Jammu and Kashmir are witnessing a new phase of transformation under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the LG said he addressed an “energetic gathering of brothers and sisters from Pahari Tribal Community,” describing it as a splendid opportunity to highlight the ongoing development initiatives.
“The transformation of the tribal community in J&K under the leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji has opened new avenues of growth, empowerment and social justice,” Sinha wrote.
The LG further said that the administration is committed to ensuring inclusive growth and extending the benefits of welfare schemes to every section of society, with a special focus on marginalized groups, including the Pahari and tribal communities.
