SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has formally summoned the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly to convene in Srinagar next month.
According to a notification issued by the Assembly Secretariat, the session is scheduled to begin on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
The order states: “I, Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 18(1) of the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act, 2019, hereby summon the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly to meet at Srinagar on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM.”
