Authorities in Srinagar will conduct a mock drill under Operation Shield today at 5 PM at the Amar Niwas Complex, as part of a broader initiative to assess and enhance emergency preparedness in the region.
The exercise will simulate various emergency scenarios to evaluate the readiness of response teams, including disaster management units, police, health services, and other key departments.
As a follow-up to the main drill, a blackout drill has been scheduled for 8 PM. Residents have been advised to cooperate with the authorities and avoid panic during the exercises.
