Srinagar, Oct 1: The Meteorological Department has predicted a significant change in weather conditions across Jammu and Kashmir from October 5, following a dry spell that is likely to continue till the afternoon of October 4.
According to the forecast, light rain, thunder, and gusty winds are expected towards the late evening of October 4.
Between October 5 and 7, most parts of the Union Territory are likely to experience light to moderate rainfall and thundershowers, while the higher reaches are expected to receive light to moderate snowfall. The department has also cautioned of isolated heavy rainfall over parts of Jammu division and Kashmir valley on October 6 and 7.
