SRINAGAR, May 2: Two people lost their lives and two others were injured in a tragic road accident in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.
According to officials, the incident occurred near the Dalhori area when a vehicle, bearing registration number JK11E-0621, overturned after the driver reportedly lost control. As a result, four occupants sustained injuries, two of whom later succumbed.
The deceased have been identified as Shakoor Ahmad (22), a resident of Dalhori Talli, and Azhar Ali (12), son of Mohammad Mushtaq from Manjakote.
The injured—Razia Begum (30), wife of Zulfikar Hussain, and Mohammad Norani (56), son of Abdul Rameen—both residents of Dalhori, were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case and initiated further investigation into the incident.
