New Delhi, May 2: Delhi Police have arrested three men in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 22-year-old man in the Sultanpuri area of outer Delhi earlier this week.

According to officials, the accused — identified as Ritik (19), Rahul (23), and Nikhil (19) — were taken into custody following an investigation into the murder of Suraj, who succumbed to multiple stab wounds on Wednesday.

Police said Suraj was found with severe injuries and rushed to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital in Mangolpuri, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the three suspects have a history of violent criminal activity. Police are currently probing the motive behind the attack and whether the incident was linked to any past disputes or gang-related activity.

“The accused were traced and arrested within 48 hours of the incident. Further interrogation is underway to determine the exact sequence of events,” a senior police officer said.

A case of murder has been registered, and further investigation is ongoing.
