New Delhi: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has ordered a significant reshuffle in the Delhi Police, transferring six IPS officers to Jammu & Kashmir, Arunachal Pradesh, and Mizoram with immediate effect.

According to an official communication issued by the Office of the Commissioner of Police, Delhi, the transfers span key security and administrative positions across the three regions.

As per the order, Ms. Shweta Chauhan, Additional Commissioner of Police (Security), has been posted to Mizoram.

Two senior officers—Sukant Shailja Ballabh, Additional DCP (West District), and Krishan Kumar, DCP (Special Cell)—have been transferred to Jammu & Kashmir, a region where policing responsibilities continue to demand heightened vigilance.

Meanwhile, Sukhraj Katewa, DCP (Security–PM), and Pankaj Kumar, DCP (Crime), have been moved to Arunachal Pradesh, an area where policing and administrative duties are seeing increased strategic focus.

Additionally, Kamal Pal Singh Malhotra, DCP (Railways), has also been repatriated to Jammu & Kashmir.

The reshuffle is expected to strengthen policing capacities in the respective union territories and states, aligning with administrative requirements and security priorities.
