Leh, Ladakh – In the aftermath of deadly violence in Leh today, Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Kavinder Gupta, has appealed to the public to maintain peace and calm. The clashes left four people dead and around 70 injured, according to local authorities.
In a video message, LG Gupta stated that “some elements” have been attempting to provoke unrest in the region over the past two days. He warned against drawing comparisons between the situation in Ladakh and disturbances in Nepal and Bangladesh, emphasizing that maintaining harmony is essential for the region’s stability.
