SRINAGAR, Sept 17: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today attended the launch of “Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan – Healthy Women, Empowered Families”, a national health campaign inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi to promote women’s health and well-being across the country.
Speaking on the occasion, the Lt Governor said the 16-day campaign will play a crucial role in strengthening health screening, maternal care services, lifestyle counselling, yoga, and Ayush-based interventions for women, adolescent girls, and children.
“This campaign will go a long way in creating a healthier society by addressing women’s health needs at the grassroots level. I urge all stakeholders to adopt a whole-of-government approach and ensure its success,” Sinha said.
