Srinagar, Dec 12: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar on Thursday said that the Kashmir Valley is likely to witness stable weather conditions over the next few days, with no significant activity expected until December 19.
According to the MeT advisory, there is a possibility of very light snowfall at isolated higher reaches of north and central Kashmir during late-night or early-morning hours in this period. However, the plains are expected to remain largely dry.
The department further added that a weak Western Disturbance may influence the region on December 20 and 21, bringing the possibility of light rain or snowfall at scattered places across Kashmir. In the Jammu division, isolated areas may also receive light precipitation during the two-day spell.
Officials said no major disruption is expected, but temperatures may fall slightly as the weather system approaches.
