Kishtwar, Aug 15 — Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is scheduled to leave for Kishtwar later this afternoon to visit the site of the recent cloudburst tragedy.

The Chief Minister will personally assess the extent of the damage caused by the disaster and review ongoing rescue and relief operations. He is also expected to meet local officials and affected residents to determine what further assistance is required to support the victims and expedite rehabilitation efforts.

The cloudburst, which struck parts of Kishtwar on Thursday, has caused widespread devastation, prompting urgent rescue missions and relief measures from the administration.
