On the occasion of National Tourism Day, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha extended an open invitation to tourists from across the globe to visit the Union Territory and experience its unparalleled natural beauty and cultural richness.
In a post on social media platform X, the Lieutenant Governor urged travelers to immerse themselves in Jammu and Kashmir’s “breathtaking natural splendor and vibrant cultural tapestry.” Highlighting the region’s tranquil landscapes and centuries-old heritage, he said that J&K offers a journey that “rejuvenates the spirit and inspires the soul.”
National Tourism Day is observed annually on January 25 to raise awareness about the importance of tourism and its social, cultural, political, and economic value. The LG’s message reaffirmed the government’s commitment to positioning Jammu and Kashmir as a safe, welcoming, and world-class destination.
