New Delhi: US Secretary of the Army, Daniel P. Driscoll, on Sunday called on Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, with discussions centred on enhancing bilateral defence cooperation and expanding military-to-military engagement between the two countries.
During the meeting, both leaders reviewed avenues to deepen strategic ties and explored opportunities for greater collaboration between the Indian Army and the US Army. The talks underscored the growing convergence of interests between the two forces in addressing regional and global security challenges.
The discussions also highlighted the shared commitment of both armies to promoting global peace and security through cooperation, joint engagements, and sustained dialogue.
The meeting reflects the continued momentum in India–US defence relations and reaffirms the importance both nations place on strengthening their military partnership.
