Srinagar, Aug 12: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday felicitated 79 cyclists of the Border Security Force (BSF) who participated in the “Pedal for Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat” rally, organised to commemorate the upcoming 79th Independence Day.

The cyclists covered a distance of 79 kilometres as part of the rally, which aimed to celebrate the country’s rich cultural diversity, promote the spirit of national unity, and foster a sense of common identity among citizens.

Lauding the participants, the Lieutenant Governor said the rally symbolised the shared ideals and collective spirit that bind the nation together.
