Jammu, May 27: The Border Security Force (BSF) has intensified its confidence-building efforts in border villages of the Jammu region, aiming to restore normalcy and support local communities amid long-standing tensions along the India-Pakistan border.

BSF Inspector General (IG) Jammu Frontier, Shashank Anand, said the force is maintaining continuous border domination and ensuring the safety of farmers engaged in agricultural activities near the border.

“We are encouraging the farmers living in border villages to reap their crops. Our farmers conduct their agricultural activity under heavy protection,” said IG Anand.

“We can also see that Pakistani farmers are carrying out agricultural activity now. We are seeing that normalcy is returning.”In addition to security measures, BSF personnel are actively engaging with residents through visits to villages, holding community meetings, and organizing medical camps and civic action programs.
