Srinagar, June 6: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday said that the dream of “Kashmir to Kanyakumari” is no longer just a slogan but a reality, following the flagging off of the Vande Bharat train to the Valley.
Speaking at the inauguration of the Kashmir rail service, LG Sinha emphasized that the new connectivity has not only physically linked the region with the rest of the country but also “connected the hearts of the people of Jammu and Kashmir with fellow citizens across India.”
He added that the service will open new avenues for economic growth and tourism in the region, describing it as a milestone in the integration and development of Jammu and Kashmir.
