JK Police ASI Killed in Jammu Road Accident

Jammu, June 1: A Jammu and Kashmir Police Additional Sub-Inspector (ASI) was killed and another person injured after a speeding car hit their two-wheelers in the Gangyal Pulli area of Jammu on Sunday evening.

The deceased, identified as 50-year-old Karamjit Singh of Satwari, was returning home on his motorcycle when the car struck him. The vehicle also hit a scooty ridden by Rajesh Kumar, who sustained injuries.

Both victims were rushed to Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu, where Singh later succumbed to his injuries. Kumar is undergoing treatment.

Police have arrested the driver of the car, while further investigation is underway.
