Baramulla, April 21: Director General of Police, Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Nalin Prabhat, concluded a detailed operational review of the Sopore and Baramulla districts on Monday. As part of his visit, he also inspected the Forward Operating Base (FOB) at Kreeri to assess on-ground preparedness and security measures.

The visit is part of a broader strategic assessment across North Kashmir. Earlier, on April 18, DGP Prabhat conducted a similar review of the Bandipora and Kupwara districts, underlining the security forces’ continued focus on strengthening counter-insurgency operations and coordination.

During the visit, the DGP interacted with senior police and security officials, taking stock of the latest security situation, operational challenges, and public safety initiatives.

The reviews aim to enhance inter-agency synergy, monitor the implementation of security strategies, and ensure the readiness of forces stationed along key operational zones.
