Srinagar, July 22: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Flash Flood Guidance Bulletin, cautioning of a low to moderate risk of flash floods across 12 districts of Jammu and Kashmir over the next 24 hours.
The districts under alert include Kathua, Samba, Udhampur, Doda, Kishtwar, Ramban, Reasi, Jammu, Rajouri, Poonch, Baramulla, and Anantnag.
In light of the advisory, the District Disaster Management Authorities (DDMAs) have been urged to implement precautionary measures and follow standard protocols to safeguard lives and property. Authorities have assured that they are closely monitoring the situation, and further updates will be issued in accordance with IMD advisories.
