Rajouri, Oct 1: Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Surindar Choudhary on Wednesday laid the foundation stone for a vital road project at Kangri, Tehsil Beripattan, aimed at enhancing connectivity in the region.
The road, which will link Chak Tabla to Nowbad up to Kangri (Sunderbani), is expected to provide a major boost to local infrastructure, easing transportation for residents and facilitating smoother movement of goods and services.
Speaking on the occasion, Choudhary said the project would significantly improve accessibility for remote areas, while also spurring socio-economic development across Beripattan and adjoining villages.
Local residents expressed hope that the initiative would open new avenues for trade, education, and healthcare, reducing travel time and improving overall quality of life.
