CM Omar Abdullah Pays Tributes to Police Martyrs on Police Commemoration Day

Srinagar, Tuesday: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today paid rich tributes to the police martyrs at Zewan, Srinagar, on the occasion of Police Commemoration Day.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister honoured and acknowledged the supreme sacrifices made by the police personnel in the line of duty. He lauded their courage, dedication, and commitment to maintaining peace and ensuring public safety, even at the cost of their lives.

Omar Abdullah said that the Jammu and Kashmir Police have always been at the forefront of fighting militancy and protecting civilians, adding that their sacrifices form the backbone of the state’s security apparatus. He emphasized that the government remains committed to the welfare of the families of the martyrs and will continue to support them in every possible way.
