Apr 28: A devastating fire on Monday evening reduced three residential houses and three shops to ashes in Peer Mohalla, a locality in South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
According to officials, the fire broke out under mysterious circumstances and rapidly spread through the congested area. Firefighters, assisted by police and local residents, managed to douse the flames after a strenuous effort.
Although, there were no reports of casualties. However, the fire inflicted heavy damage to property. Authorities have begun an investigation to determine the exact cause of the blaze.
