Daily Parcel Train from Budgam to Delhi to Boost Apple Growers: LG Sinha

SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday said the launch of a daily parcel train from Budgam to New Delhi will greatly benefit J&K’s apple growers.In a post on X, the LG’s office said the service will provide “huge relief” to the horticulture sector by ensuring faster, reliable transport to Delhi markets.Sinha thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, noting the move will cut costs and reduce losses from delays.
