Srinagar — In a poignant tribute, Jammu & Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha expressed his deep condolences following the death of veteran Bollywood icon Dharmendra, who passed away on November 24, 2025 at the age of 89.
In his message, Sinha said, “In the passing away of Shri Dharmendra Ji, the film industry has lost one of its most successful icons, who entertained several generations of Indians with his riveting performances. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. I pray for peace of the departed soul.”
Dharmendra, often referred to as Bollywood’s “He-Man,” breathed his last at his Mumbai residence after a period of illness. His death has triggered an outpouring of grief across political and cinematic circles.
